Outstanding in the Field - Roving restaurant without walls
Outstanding in the Field returns to Agritopia Farm, the flagship farm for the Arizona Urban Agriculture Foundation and the heartbeat of the Agritopia neighborhood.
Christy Davis, the Foundation’s visionary Executive Director and champion of the state’s local food systems, will welcome us to this vibrant oasis, where we will gather beneath peach trees.
Chef Matt Carter, a driving force behind the Phoenix food scene with his Fat Ox, The Mission and Zinc Bistro restaurants, will prepare a meal with produce farmed in much the same way as was traditionally done in this arid landscape.

Whiskey Under the Stars

Miss Hickory will lead a Farm Hands Class: The Evergreens, where you will explore the wonders of evergreen plants through hands-on activities and nature-based learning.
Did you know that the evergreen family goes well beyond pine trees? Venture into the garden at Agritopia to discover several different types of evergreen plants. Our class will culminate with a celebration of our favorite holiday cooking evergreen: ROSEMARY! Each attendee with prepare and take home a tin of rosemary salt to use with holiday dishes and beyond!
